Quick summary: Slimreel has no accounts and no servers. Slimreel processes video entirely on your device and makes zero network calls of any kind.

What we collect

Nothing. Slimreel does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. The app makes no network calls of any kind — no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, and no advertising SDK.

Your videos

Slimreel does not require an account. Videos you choose to compress are read from, and — if you choose to save the result — written back to, your device's Photos library using Apple's on-device PhotosPicker and PhotosKit APIs. Slimreel never uploads a video anywhere; all compression happens locally on your device using on-device video processing.

Purchases

Purchases (Slimreel Pro) are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. Slimreel never sees or stores your payment information.

Where your data lives

Slimreel does not store your videos anywhere except your device's own Photos library. Nothing is synced to iCloud or any other service by Slimreel, and nothing leaves your device.

Children's Privacy

Slimreel does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If a future feature ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that feature ships, with the effective date revised.
