Effective August 2026
Nothing. Clipwell does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. The app makes no network calls of any kind — no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, and no advertising SDK.
Text, images, and files you save are stored in Clipwell's own private container on your device, shared only between the Clipwell app and its own keyboard, Share and widget extensions. They are not synced to iCloud or any other service, and they are not readable by other apps.
Clipwell includes a keyboard extension. iOS requires that you grant it Allow Full Access before it can read the clips you saved, because those clips live in a shared container and iOS gates shared-container access behind that permission.
iOS warns that a keyboard with Full Access "can access all the data you type." That warning is shown for every third-party keyboard. For Clipwell specifically:
Clipwell reads your clipboard only when you ask it to, and only at that moment:
It cannot and does not monitor your clipboard in the background — iOS does not permit any app to do that. What it reads is saved on your device and sent nowhere.
Clipwell Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. Clipwell never sees or stores your payment information.
Clipwell does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
If a future feature ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that feature ships, with the effective date revised.
